I had a whole thing up here in the past about why I would always spend a little extra money at festivals for the VIP upgrade. The special areas with easier access to food and drinks were great. The roped off bit where you could get close to the stage without getting your ribs cracked while Glassjaw was playing was also a plus. But the number one reason I’d pay a couple hundred extra dollars? Nicer bathrooms. Some of those portable building toilets were pretty fancy. And port-a-potties are nightmare inducing for me.
