Crust Fries

Crust Fries

In celebration of me renewing the security certificate thing on this website (the thing that will keep your browser from giving you a “THIS PAGE IS UNSAFE!!! warning.) I am going to share another quick, easy, and delicious recipe that I made from the scraps of pie crust that were leftover from some mini quiches that I have in the oven right now.

Preheat oven to 375 F. Cut prepackaged refrigerated piecrust into strips and arrange them on a parchment paper lined cookie sheet. Microwave some butter, sugar, and cinnamon until the butter is melted. For the amount of “fries” I made, which were cut from, like, 1/2 of a single pie crust, I used 1 tablespoon each of butter and sugar and about 2 teaspoons of cinnamon. Stir, and then spoon this sugary goodness over the strips of crust. Bake about 10 minutes.
