You know what I can’t stand? When I go to a website and a freakin’ popup pops up at me as soon as I get there, going “SIGN UP FOR THE MAILING LIST!!!!” And then you can’t find the little x to close it because the x is the same color as the background. Or sometimes there’s a link under the part where they want your email address that says something like “I know I am disappointing you, Jillian, but I don’t feel the need to have handy tips, tricks and recipes sent to my email box 5 times a week”
Perhaps I will start a mailing list someday. Who can tell? If I ever so make one, it will be linked through an unobtrusive little deal at the top of the page.
