I’ve pretty much filled in Geezer Butler now. I sent a picture to both Crystal and Jamie. It was all down to the fine details. putting the waves in the hair, defining the edges of his nose, fixing some small things. But I stepped away and looked back and realized that I had shaded a little more of his face than I should have. I went over that bit with a light color.

 I’m at a point where I know what I need to do but I haven’t quite figured it out. I’m like 85-90% done! What I decided tonight is that it’s time to start working on Ozzy. Geezer Butler can stay in that hoop and when I the solution hits me, I’ll be able to go. If I don’t move on to the next one now, I am going to be trying to finish this one guy for the rest of the year! Paralyzed, trying to find the way to get what’s in my head out.

I’ve been juggling my thread painting with cross stitch. I probably have 2 more hours on Jamie’s birthday present. It’s taking forever! I did the math and I think all told it will be around 30 hours of work. But I love it and I can’t wait to share it with everyone after I give it to her. It’s such a time consuming but very satisfying project.
