Cross Stitch

What a time to be alive, eh?

With my latest attempt at trying something new during this National Craft Month, I found my happy place while following a cross stitch pattern from https://thestrandedstitch.com/

This kit came with the pattern, an embroidery hoop, aida cloth, more than enough embroidery floss, a needle, and a basic cross stitch instruction sheet. The only things I used that weren’t included were a needle threader and a pair of scissors. (and… maybe a seam ripper to help me take out the “M” when my lefty brain thought it would be cool to stitch it backwards)

I worked on it in the mornings and then at night to wind down after dealing with upset people all day and I feel the message has been my mantra for the past week. I’ve decided to backspace over the next bit that I’ve typed out about my feelings about different types of shoppers. That might be for an entirely different post. I am trying to show off my successful attempt at a craft on the first try!

What do you think?
